We currently have 2 girls teams -
Under 14's & Under 16's
We run a Girls Development session on a -
Monday night 6.30 - 7.30pm
Venue - Burnside School
Age 6-10 yr olds
We are also now running an Open Girls session at Wallsend Boys Club on a Tuesday night 6-8pm.

We are currently working alongside The Tony Blair Sports Foundation to provide increased opportunities
for girls to become involved in football.

The Tony Blair Sports Foundation
The foundation is working with our Club to recruit more women to become players, coaches or officials.
The foundation will provide 50% of funding for Level 1 football coaching courses and officials courses.
Wallsend Girls Club and The Tony Blair Sports Foundation Recruitment Plan
- Work with local councils and schools to engage with girls and young women to promaote the programme.
- Deliver presentations and training sessions to girls within their school environment.
- Connect with other agencies that can help or fund girls' football.
- Offer out of school football activities.
- We will work to develop girls so that they can play for fun or competitively.
- We will provide girls over the age of 16 the opportunity to continue playing.
- We will develop training plans for girls of 16 years and older to become coaches and officials.
- We will hold taster sessions and football fun days organised and run by our new
Tony Blair Sports Foundation coaches, officials and volunteers.
